The Actors Fund, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks a clinical Social Worker for The HIV/AIDS Initiative and Disabled Program to develop and coordinate individual treatment plans with the goal of providing support, information and resources that assist people in stabilizing their lives and managing a chronic condition.
The Social Worker will provide direct services including intake, assessment, and intensive case management to HIV/AIDS and Disabled clients and their families. The Social Worker will facilitate psychoeducation and support, either in individual, group or seminar settings. The Social Worker will utilize a wellness model in working with clients to affect positive change in all aspects of their lives.
To interview for this position, you must have a Master of Social Work degree, LCSW preferred. We are ideally looking for someone with 2 years’ experience working with Disability and/or HIV/AIDS related issues and concerns. Experience in working with addiction and dual diagnosis as well as experience working with seniors and aging in place is helpful.

Local travel for client visits is mandatory, so a valid, unrevoked, California driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle are required.
Availability to assist in agency-wide outreach to the entertainment community to provide information about Actors Fund services.
May be required to work an adjusted schedule, which may include additional weekday evening or weekend hours.
