Spark! are half-day, case-scenario-based sessions designed to stimulate discussion, develop new perspectives, and support peer-to-peer learning opportunities through the sharing of experiences and successful practices in the field in a short, fun, and meaningful way.

-The goal of the Spark! Seminars is to enhance and strengthen the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the HIV workforce within community based organizations.

INTRODUCTION An introduction session will provide context and recent information on HIV that is particular to each region. 2. GROUPS Participants will be divided into one of four groups: Communication, Coordination, and Collaboration; Recruitment and Retention; Cultural Responsiveness; and Stigma. 3. CASE-SCENARIOS In each group, participants will be presented with three case-scenarios (20 min each) on how the selected topic relates to HIV testing, Prevention with HIV-positive People, and Organizational Development and Management. 4. DISCUSSIONS To spark ideas, action steps, strategies, methods, processes, and techniques, small group discussions will be held to address the challenges through the development of possible solutions for each case scenario. 5. LESSONS Lastly, the entire group will reconvene to share lessons learned and to talk about next steps.
